Farmington Development Company is a real estate development company that has been in business since 1985 in Farmington Missouri.
Farmington Development company started in 1985 as a commercial retail developer in Farmington Missouri and in 1989 started Maple Valley shopping center. The Shopping Center has maintained a level of success through the years with many national retail chains performing at the top in the Farmington market. Surrounding the Shopping Center Farmington Development Company sold and developed 153 acres of commercial retail , restaurants, office space, medical parks, and other commercial retail developments. The success started with Chip Peterson and Joe Burgess these two created a dynamic team in the Farmington market, with Chips back ground in marketing and Joe's extensive knowledge in land development and site work . These two propelled FDC into success until 2010 until Joe passed away and son Matt Burgess assumed Joe's responsibilities in the company. Matt is a developer in Farmington with several projects under his belt he carries the same values that his father did. Matt and Chip are a power team in creating successful environments for commercial property tenants and potential land owners.
